Music Video: XSKULL8 – Say You’ll Be Mine
This is our fort music video production called Say You’ll Be Mine for the band XSKULL8 and we couldn’t be more proud of it, not just because it was our first music video but also because the song itself gave us a really great starting point for creating the video in the first place. Also from everybody involved of the band performing in the video to our amazing crew who withstood freezing temperature for hours shooting scenes on the streets of Ljubljana.
A special thanks goes out Iza Kokoravec, Miha Hajdu, Borut Perme, Katarina Celarc, Miloš Krsmanović and of course everybody else that contributed to the making of this music video and we’re all looking forward to new challenges in the times to come.
We are also very proud of this music video since it has been featured at a few major film festivals like in London, UK and in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

Music video trailer
Fun facts:
The soldier scenes in this music video were captured on a misty morning, employing a minimal cast of six actors. Through strategic positioning in the shots, we aimed to craft an atmosphere that felt expansively cinematic despite the limited resources.
To enhance immersion, copious amounts of haze and smoke were deployed to shroud the location, sparking curiosity among nearby residents about the clandestine activities underway. This added an intriguing layer of intrigue to the production.
Inside scenes featuring two actors in suits were illuminated by a single light source. As the camera focused solely on the upper halves of the actors, costume design extended only to the waist. In a nod to the summer setting, both actors sported shorts and flip flops, blending a touch of casual realism with the formal attire.

Music Video: XSKULL8 – Little Miss Perfect
XSKULL8 new music video for the song called Little Miss Perfect.
Fun facts
The music video incorporated a variety of storytelling techniques, employing a non-linear structure that gradually converged at its midpoint, reaching a culmination and plot twist in the ending scene.
The characters of parents were intentionally embedded in the background action of club scenes.
But the most impactful moment and plot twist was when the mother, father, and daughter each noticed a concert stamps on their hands the next morning at breakfast, confirming that they were all present at the same concert the previous night.
Remarkably, the opening scene featuring Little Miss Perfect walking towards the club was flawlessly executed in just two takes, which was an amazing achievement since scenes like that usually take hours to get right. It’s testament to meticulous planning and excellent collaboration between people on set.
The funniest thing is that the band’s most devoted fan actively participated in the video’s production and after reaching out to the director. An intriguing idea emerged: what if the fan was thrown out of the club by a bouncer in the beginning scene, enhancing the overall irony even more with the use of the Wilhelm scream. Unsurprisingly, the fan readily embraced this concept and there was a lot of fun shooting this part of the story.

Music Video: XSKULL8 – Leaves Are Falling
XSKULL8 new music video for the song called Leaves Are Falling.
Fun facts:
The in-camera aesthetic draws inspiration from director Tony Scott’s feature films “Unstoppable” (2010) and “Deja Vu” (2006).
A distinctive approach was employed: shooting the footage not at the standard 24 frames per second but at a unique 12 frames per second, with subsequent projection at 24 fps by duplicating every other frame. Simultaneously, a higher shutter angle of 360° was utilized to enhance the motion blur, contributing to a more pronounced visual effect.
To further elevate the visual atmosphere, the in-camera process incorporated extensive backlighting and intentional lens flares. These elements were strategically employed to deepen the eerie quality of the overall look, complemented by a high-contrast color grade.
